After a visit to Arroyo City, Texas, in 1993, I resigned from my corporate accounting management job with an oil company in Houston and made Arroyo City my home. My son, Derick, who was then 13, grew up here hunting, fishing and boating on the Arroyo Colorado and Lower Laguna Madre. 
      Working as a Certified Public Accountant with clients in Harlingen, Brownsville and South Padre Island kept me busy for a couple of years. Working as Division Controller in Matamoros, Mexico for manufacturers of the Primestar Satellite Systems was a unique experience, allowing travel throughout the U.S.
     However, there is no place like home in Arroyo City. Meeting the neighbors, listening to stories about their past and dreams for their futures has been the most rewarding part of my career.
     For the past 10 years, I've been serving the real estate needs of this community with professional competence, integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
